Life Events Training Day with Sandra Millar

Sandra is the National Coordinator for Life Events [Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals] for the Church of England. We are fortunate enough to have her on our doorstep here in Gloucester Diocese, and she has agreed to come and spend the day with us, which will be a fantastic opportunity. 

Please get this in your diary, and anyone else who is on your LMT, or who has anything to do with Weddings and Baptisms, or is interested in them in your Parish.  Life Events ministry, done well, is a massive mission opportunity for us.

*2019 Mission Shaped Ministry course  

As a Deanery we ran the ‘mission shaped intro course’  to explore mission and discipleship in both traditional church and new forms of church.  In 2019 the diocese are running the year-long Mission Shaped Ministry course.  There are three Saturdays in Gloucester with visiting speakers plus a weekend at a retreat centre, and the remaining  sessions (running once a month when there is not a central session) will be run at local centres.
